After bolstering security at the embattled U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, President Trump put the blame on Iran for the two days of violence in the Iraqi capital.
The U.S. Embassy in Iraq is, & has been for hours, SAFE! Many of our great Warfighters, together with the most lethal military equipment in the world, was immediately rushed to the site. Thank you to the President & Prime Minister of Iraq for their rapid response upon request….

He tweeted Tuesday that Iran is culpable for deaths or damage at U.S. facilities, saying the Middle Eastern nation “will pay a very BIG PRICE!” Trump underscored the seriousness of his remarks, saying, “This is not a Warning, it is a Threat.”
Trump also has used the phrase “The Anti-Benghazi” to describe the scenario unfolding in Baghdad.
